8/29/2023 0 Comments Mediational processes definitionThe first four most prevalent offences and crimes are vandalism (83%), alcohol offences (74%), drugs and substance abuse (72%), and loitering (69%) (VADL). Descriptive statistics was used to analyse the quantitative data, while content analysis was employed in analysing qualitative data. Credit mediational processes relevant to Carissa’s situation: attention, competence/reproduction, retention/memory, motivation. Social Learning Theory was used as theoretical framework for the study. Two focused group discussions were held with a total of 20 students. Participants were selected using stratified random sampling. Three hundred and fifty of 16-item survey questionnaires were returned from the 365 distributed to AA UNIVERSITY students across 34 departments in six colleges. A mixed method research combined survey and case study research designs was adopted. Therefore, this study investigated the patterns and reasons for students' offences and crimes using AA University as a case study. With recent explosion in the population of adolescents in private universities in Nigeria, there is need to understand the nature and dynamics of offenses and crimes among adolescents in this sociological space. Studies of offenses and crimes among Nigerian undergraduates are mostly focussed on state-owned universities in Nigeria and may not reflect the realities of private universities. Besides that, certain navigation in this game needs adult monitoring. The result from the testing shows that children know the unhealthy and healthy food that in their surroundings and can identify which one can give negative effect to health. It aims to alleviate distress by helping patients to develop more adaptive cognitions and behaviours. It is a directive, time-limited, structured approach used to treat a variety of mental health disorders. The purpose of this research is to study how the persuasive technology can help motivate people and change it into positive perspective by identifying the factors that change human behavior. Cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) explores the links between thoughts, emotions and behaviour. Step of persuasive design is used to make the application of Persuasive Technology looks more effective. Principle of Persuasive Technology is used for behavioral change into positive perspective. In this scenario, children will be mostly influenced the social environment factor which involves parental eating patterns. Based on the Social Learning Theory, learning process can be done through observational learning. BJ Fogg Social Learning Theory and Principles of Persuasive Technology are the two type of approaches used in this project. This game uses strategy of persuasion to tell children the impact of taking unhealthy foods. Parents are the closest person to children especially when they are at home. The social environment factor involves parental eating patterns. Social environment is considered as another factor that could lead to taking unhealthy food. As a result, they tend to eat what is being advertised. Children can be easily exposed to unhealthy food when they spend too much time watching television.
